How to change instance type of EC2

You can change instance type of EC2 instance very easily. Adjust EC2 instance type by considering your system performance.
Firstly click EC2 console from AWS management console.

Then, select change target EC2 instance.

To change instance type, the target EC2 instance needs to be stopped.

Next, select target EC2 instance. And, select items as below.
Actions > Instance settings > Change instance type

Then, set EC2 instance type and click apply button.
In this case, I’ve changed instance type from t2.micro to m4.xlarge.

EC2 instance type is change successfully !!
